Tuzigoot

Archaeologists believe the Sinagua built on this knoll so that the children could spot and announce when visitors could be seen approaching.

All around was a fertile valley in which to grow their corn, beans and squash.

Mano and metate used for grinding corn among other things.  One of the reasons they didn't live so long as we do today is the grit in the meal wore down their teeth.
