The Jeep Runs and more........ June 10, 2009

Vic put two of his train batteries in the Jeep and voila! It started! And we're off for our first ride on the property to see what it will do - first crossing the stream.

Here are the Ragged Robin and Buttercups

More Scabiosa - in the field behind the house, barn and hangar. It doesn't ride like the Rubicon but it's going to be so much fun! At my request Vic folded down the windshield just like in the movies - makes for great photo taking between the bumps and jolts!

New Toy (Jeep project) - June 8, 2009

Vic found this project in PA on the internet and now it's ours. It's a 1955 M38A1 for those in the know or just plain curious.She's in remarkably good condition still having some of the original paint on the underside. Unloading at home (complete with my finger in front of the lens - argh!)

Our fields are currently full of Scabiosa here with acres Buttercups and Ragged Robin in other areas.
