Moab Day #10 - Strike Canyon

Strike Canyon wasn't an area that often had lovely views or areas of special interest. However it was a challenging trail where one couldn't become distracted for even a moment giving it an attraction of its own.
A tight squeeze
The cottonwoods were bursting into bloom.
Passing through a wash we heard voices and looked around. We had come upon four young men and three rock crawlers that were attempting to climb a bouldery slope (understatement). They became our entertainment for a period of time.
All I could think was "why?" and "has your mother/grandmother seen you doing this?"
The third vehicle was working on the climb when we left them to their fun.
A large mine adit
The exit was through the BFE. BFE is privately owned land purchased to provide a place for extreme 4-wheeling. Areas within have names like Helldorado.
